Black, white and grey dominated, and therefore this color palette is not well away from the designer’s previous collection. Just as a reminder, Duong used similarly toned hues for the last season, with some neon segments here and there.

Diana Orving Stockholm Fashion Week Spring 2013
Diana Orving’s distinctive design is characterized by layers, volume and draped fabrics. The collection is genuinely inspired from the ultimate simplicity and abstract purity of geometrical shapes such as the rectangle, the square and the circle, transformed into beautiful advanced angles and cuts by folding, draping and twisting the textures.

Ida Sjöstedt Stockholm Fashion Week Spring 2013
Ida Sjöstedt Spring 2013 -The collection, Dream Girls, as per the signature magic trick of its creator, has a pop resonance to it. To the point, inspiration is drawn from the notorious rose tinted, Instagram filtered images. The result being a bewitching palette of waning pastel colors, a make-believe castle setting enwrapped in a lilac dusk aura.

Red-pink haired figures, strutting down the catwalk on snazzy light blue and bright red satin wedge pumps, showcased a whimsical variety of frocks. Demure bon-ton mises reminiscent of Alice in Wonderland opened the show, followed by an intermittence of pink and cobalt blue floral prints accompanied by blossom-decorated funky eyewear bursting with teenage esprit.
