The thing is with Moschino, though, that all this styling rarely reflects the delightfully feminine and well fitting clothes that end up in the shops. Of course the signature house eccentricity makes for elaborate and humorous windows much of the time, but beyond that there are often pretty clothes to be had – perfect day-to-night dresses, well-tailored coats and elegant, just-unusual-enough evening wear with some kitsch accessories alongside.
Today the house was determined to put on a parade, however, so we saw black, red and white ski pants with cropped jackets of fur or leather – the latter featuring the big house heart signature were it to be fastened at the front.
Coats and miniskirt suits with bright gold metal ware came in red, white, purple or black, some dresses to match featuring swingy skirts of marabou.
